Even as we go through life, we often forget that life flows through us. The flow of our positive thoughts and high energy not only shapes a favourable future for ourselves, it also creates an expansiveness within. However, it is not always possible to remain upbeat, positive, and energetic. Sometimes, challenges and situations bog us down and we find the going tough, it is natural. When we reflect on it, we will realise that the one quality that can significantly change our life is ensuring that our natural flow does not stop.
Every river faces boulders and mountains and slows down when faced with opposition. And yet, it endures the resistance and makes a new path, often around the stones moving forward. We not only carry the resilience to endure obstacles but also the imagination and ability to cut through them and move ahead if we don’t let the flow stop.
When water falls from a height, even in its fall it has the power to generate electricity. There will be times we face setbacks but we carry the optimism to bounce back creating a powerful future even after a fall if we don’t let the flow stop.
When we truly care for someone we need to let them know before life robs us of an opportunity in future. We can only build strong bonds of love when we stop hesitating and don’t let the flow stop.
Sometimes life meanders and we feel we are losing direction. The key is to not stop, but keep moving even if it feels like we are not making much headway. Life has a strange way of opening new paths and directions, and before we know it, the right direction and opportunities rekindle our enthusiasm if we don’t let the flow stop.
The freshness of a river comes from its flow, stagnant water can decay. The flow of knowledge not only keeps us updated and young but also clears our thinking of conditioning and prejudices. As Tagore had beautifully said – ‘Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit.’ But we can only remain fresh and positive in our thinking if we don’t let the flow stop.
We are capable of much more than what we ourselves know. Our inner expanse has the potential to overcome and create beyond our current imagination. No matter where we stand today, the ability to reshape things lies very much in us. Nothing can stop us if just make sure that we don’t let the flow stop.
