Sometimes we find ourselves facing a situation and managing responsibilities that leaves us with a feeling of being alone. It is not that people are not around, or that they have left us, it is just a feeling of loneliness and a feeling that we have to find a way out by ourselves. It is true that there may well be some things that we need to attend by ourselves, but if we take a step back, we will realise we are never alone.
When we take the trouble to look around and find out more about the situation others are in, we will realise that we are not alone in what we are facing. There are several who may be going through similar challenges and maybe more. Understanding their problems and the way they are dealing with them guides us in our situation.
There are some people in our life who are always there for us, no matter what. Sometimes the hesitation to reach out is in our mind, not in their willingness and ability to help. Breaking our mental barriers connects us, and we realise we are not alone.
In spite of our challenges and responsibilities, we can be a source of guidance and strength to others. When we fill our time with reaching out to help, and fill someone else with hope and comfort, it dispels our own loneliness.
We often underestimate what some people can do for us. When we start believing more in people and trusting their abilities, in spite of our reservations, most times we are pleasantly surprised and we quickly move from being lonely to having a team with us.
Our ego and self-image often prevent us from sharing our vulnerabilities and challenges. How often have we heard someone say to us – ‘but why didn’t you mention it and ask for help?’ When we drop our ego and accept the simple fact that everyone has their share of situations to handle, we open the path for others to become part of the solution we are seeking, ending our sense of loneliness.
When we keep our faith, the right person enters our life at the right time. We start understanding the principle of life that when we are faced with a problem, we will never be left alone, but will find the support and ability to overcome it.
And sometimes in despair when all seems lost and having tried everything we possibly could when we connect within, we find the guidance, and slowly things miraculously play out in a manner we could not have imagined. It is then we realise that no matter what, we are never alone because our inner voice is always there with us to guide us.

It is true ‘We are not alone’. If we break the barrier ‘ego’ and ask/ approach some one whom we can trust, will definitely come forward, thereby we communicate find solutions for which we have not apprehended.
