It Is Never Too Late

As times passes by, we sometimes feel we have lost the opportunity of doing something we wanted to. We resign to the fact that it’s too late to think of doing something. Our biggest mistake could well be limiting ourselves, because as life teaches us, it is never too late.

It is never too late to learn something that interested us – an instrument, a game, or a hobby, but we never got down to giving it time in our busy schedule.

It is never too late to reimagine and reshape our health, no matter what we think our body cannot do.

It is never too late to study the things we always wanted to, but maybe never had the opportunity earlier on.

It is never too late to give shape to that brilliant idea we have been living with, but just never found the conviction of taking the leap of faith.

It is never too late to reconnect with someone who was very dear to us but over time we lost contact.

It is never too late to evoke the empathy and compassion in us, and start reaching out to those in society who may be struggling to make ends meet.

It is never too late to take the first step and make amends for a strained relationship. Making an apology or forgiving someone may not undo the past, but it releases a fresh breath of energy and happiness for the future time we have.

It is never too late to tell someone that we love them. It is easy to take those close to us for granted and sometimes we find it difficult to show our affection. The more difficult we find it, the more we need to do it.

There are things in our life we know we need to change. In our moment of honesty, there is complete clarity. Even as we go through the opportunities, uncertainties and turmoil around us, we have the ability to reshape our life. We need to make a promise to ourselves, be firm in our resolve, and take that vital first step today before it gets too late.

  1. What hope is drummed up in the repeating mantra ‘it is never too late’, and how easy to slip into the space of victimhood of ‘I’ve failed, and am a failure’ if hope is lost. A powerful message for the likes of me Vivek
