Finding Answers

Aug 21, 2020 | awareness | 1 comment

We struggle with issues in our lives. Sometimes we have clarity and other times we really don’t know how to proceed ahead. Finding Answers to our situations is not always easy. But it doesn’t mean there are no answers. We just need to learn how to find them.

Discussing our problem helps. When we open up, we ourselves start becoming more self aware of the challenge and our reason for being held back. We need to drop our pride and accept that we need help. Opening up opens up the door to finding answers.

Listening to others gives us answers. A comment, story, something we read or hear can trigger off an internal thought process. Getting a perspective opens the door to finding answers.

Many times the challenges may be external but the answer lies in changing ourselves. We may be the cause of which the situation we are dealing with is the effect. Honest introspection opens doors to finding answers.

And when all else has failed, we discover the secret of finding answers. We deeply reflect and when we don’t get clarity we submit to the Higher. And when the time is right we get an answer.

I remember I was unable to get someone to meet me for a very important transaction. In spite of best efforts of speaking on the phone and sending a written request, nothing seemed to work. And I let go. I said to myself I have done all I could, now when the time is right this meeting will take place if it has to happen. A few weeks later I was at the petrol pump waiting for the attendant and suddenly I got a very strong thought -‘Call this man now.’ It was as if someone was speaking very loudly. Stepping away from the pump I called the gentleman. He was in a good frame of mind because there was a wedding in his family. He asked me to meet him at his home because he was busy with the preparations. Next day in a very cordial setting we came to an agreement in thirty minutes.

When we are patient and trust our Inner Voice we find answers.

Answers don’t come easily all the time, not because we’re being punished. Our faith is being tested and we are being taught the art of discovery for our own good.

And if we sometimes wonder why we go through so much in life, we need to look back and realise how each situation came as a disguised opportunity and blessing for us to grow. And in that realisation, we have found our answer.

  1. You are so right. The real control centre of your life is your attitude. Attitude to both people and situations.
