I was reflecting on Patience, or rather Impatience.
Our impatience reflects lack of love, our inability to give others their time and space.
It comes from lack of knowledge, that things very often play out true to their own nature over which there is no control.
It comes from our ego, the sense of superiority if things don’t match our standards. The answer doesn’t lie in lowering one’s standards but helping others raise theirs.
Developing patience is integrating oneself within. It requires humility. The humility to know that we too are not perfect. That we too make mistakes and someone in our life has been very patient with us.
When we give gratitude and appreciation for all the understanding we have received, it washes away our impatience.
Change takes time. We need to be patient.
I was just thinking about it two days ago..
Tolerating is waiting for things to close…Patience is waiting for things t Open.
Beautifully put Rhea, thanks !
So true ! Everything happens at the time it’s meant to happen ! Not sooner nor late 😇
Always read about patience, how to bring , how important patience is, etc.
Impatience explained so simple and very meaningful.
Thanks.
