We get what we invoke. Our ability to create and build things for ourselves is far greater than we imagine. Knowing the power of invocation helps us sharpen and redirect our thoughts and actions.
There are three aspects at play in all that we do. Our effort, our dedicated application of our potential and the goal we are trying to achieve.
Being successful and effective lies in the interplay of all three. When with consistent self application, we single pointedly offer our knowledge and skill to the work at hand with dedication, we are able to invoke the productive potential in the goal we seek.
Just as a gardener works tirelessly with devotion, offering his entire knowledge and skill to the seed and the soil, to harness the productive potential of the seed to become the mighty oak.
Committed self application is key. Constantly sharpening our skill and knowledge is key. Being devoted to our goal is key.
When we start recognising this principle in our worldly success, we need to start applying it to our inner world. To invoke the Love and Joy within. It is only then we have truly understood and benefitted from the wonderful power of Invocation.
The stone is pregnant with the statue waiting to be chiseled. When we make ourselves fully available, offering the best in us with inspiration, the statue in the stone will be Invoked.
Dear Vivek,
We may visualise the ‘unseen’ in this little poem about keeping it simple.
Dr. Anand
This is one of the shortest and best poems I have come across in my life . It is written by Lemn Sissay, an abandoned Ethiopian child who grew up in foster care in UK . In 2012 he was the official poet of the London Olympics and from 2015 has been the Chancellor of Manchester University .
“How do you do it?” said night
“How do you wake up and shine?”
” I keep it simple.” said light
“One day at a time”
Absolutely… my favourite hymn is ‘One Day At A Time’…
So true ! The intense faith & belief in one’s conviction to make it happen works in tandem with the Universe ! Be it as simple as finding inner calm & peace or the most humungous task of carving a tunnel tough the mountain.
Keeping in mind the world wide scenario…..
Thank you Vivek for reminding us that all of mankind has a great deal of untapped potential to not only accept but also to confront the situation we are currently facing.
We need to dig deep inside and invoke this untapped potential for not only facing this challenge head on, but simultaneously keep aware
Of invoking our potential for our spiritual upliftment as well.
So true Vivek ! The concept of invoking love and joy within is beautiful …. this inner state would act as catalyst to achieving success in every other aspect of life …. Infact success in any task or skill is not sustainable without this. Your daily sharing gives such wonderful cues for self reflection ….Thanks !
