Our inner world is the world of thoughts. We often feel that since no one else can enter that space, we can allow ourselves to entertain whatever thoughts we like as long as our behaviour, actions, and attitude externally are acceptable. In compartmentalising life in two separate worlds – inner and outer, we often forget that every action was first a thought, and every thought is pregnant with action.
The quality of our thoughts deeply influences the quality of our life. When we stop engaging with lower-order thoughts and strengthen higher-order thoughts within, we start making better decisions and channeling our time and energy into making better decisions and building stronger relationships.
When we manage the quantity of our thoughts and quieten our mind, not only do we find the ability to go deeper, but also see the hidden in the obvious. A cluttered and noisy mind is like a messy cupboard, we know what we are looking for is there somewhere but it takes long to get to it.
Critical is the direction of our thoughts, it gives us focus. A distracted and diffused mind achieves a fraction of what a focused mind can, even when both work as hard. A plain glass can never achieve what a magnifying glass does.
When we realise that the quality, quantity, and direction of our thoughts direct the flow of energy, we will understand and appreciate a simple fact of life – where thoughts go energy flows, where energy flows, that grows.

So lucidly expressed. These reminders are so needed. Thank you 😊
Very introspective. Need to read it over & over again.
