We know the things we need to let go of. The concept of letting go is not new to us, but there is another level we need to learn to move to – moving from letting go to let come.
Letting go comes from introspection and reflection, looking within and deciding to bring about changes in our life. But letting come is based on our understanding and faith, knowing that the answers that we seek exist. They will only come to us if we let go of our preoccupations and are ready to let them come, recognising them as answers to our prayers and problems.
Letting an inspiring vision come to us needs us to believe in the fact that there is a purpose to our lives and even in our limited way, we can make our existence meaningful for ourselves and others.
Letting ideas come to us needs us to observe things around us for what they are and stop our old conditioning colour our thinking. We need to understand that there are things we don’t know, which when we let come and act upon, can change our lives.
Letting breakthrough solutions come to us needs us to stop thinking about the problem all the time so that when the solution presents itself, we are available to recognise it and let it come clearly to us.
Letting the next steps come to us when all seems lost needs us to have deep faith in our inner voice, and create the space and time for silence, to be guided from within. It is in our time of silence we need to let go of our fears and let the courage come that will see us through.
Paradoxical as it may sound, sometimes we need to stop wrestling with issues to allow the solution to come to us. It does not mean we become irresponsible and fatalistic in our approach. It only means we learn the art of creating the space, and letting go of the stress, and letting the answers come.
There are many good things waiting for us in life. There are many signals life is trying to send us. There are many people sending us vibes. Each one will help us and answer much of what we seek. We just need to make ourselves available and let them come.
